Fare Code Question

Can someone tell me what fare class "BLSQ" is? I assume it's B, but am not sure.

Also, can SWU's be used for more then one segment? i.e. if i want to go to FRA but there is a stopover in YUL. If I use the SWU at YYZ, will it be applicable for the whole trip (i.e. YYZ-YUL-FRA,- or just YYZ-YUL or YUL-FRA)

TIA

If I recall, that's the SQ fare between YYZ & HKG? If so, it's indeed in B class.

It can be used for more than 1 segment provided that you're only making a connection at any intermediate city/cities. So if you're flying YYZ-YUL-FRA and the stop at YUL does not exceed 24 hours, then one SWU would cover it.

Thanks for the quick reply Empress. Your help, as always, is greatly appreciated.

As for the BLSQ fare, it's acutally YYZ-YVR-SIN with a stopover somewhere.

Yup, that's booked in B class as well. For this fare, you can take AA/AC/UA/US from YYZ to SFO and then SQ to SIN.

Thanks for the advice, but going through the US is a pain in the @ss http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

That's actually the routing required for this fare, so looks like you don't have a choice.
