ExecFirst YUL/CDG: Experiences?

I will be travelling to Paris from YUL on 8 January in ExecFirst and was wondering if any FTers can tell me how their experiences have been on this route recently. The last time I flew in ExecFirst on this route was in June 2001 and YUL-CDG was very good but CDG-YUL was horrible.... your input is greatly appreciated!! Many thanks,

As always, in flight service will be dependent on the crew that you get. You will a nice dinner upon take off then light breakfast before arrival. Since it's an A330, you will have video on demand.

Hi Luxury, as Empress said the level of service often depends on the crew assigned to the flight. AC870-871 YUL-CDG have mostly senior crews who, in my experience, seem to enjoy offering the J service to ExecFirst pax.

A menu is distributed soon after boarding; after reaching altitude, drinks are offered and your order for the main course is taken (usually 3 choices). The FA's then come around with the trolley with the appetizers (choice between 2), followed by the main course and then a selection of cheeses, dried fruit and port. Dessert after that.

You'll be pretty stuffed if you go for the whole thing !

You can also opt for a main course dish only which is served quite quickly after wheels-up allowing more time for sleeping.

Breakfast is fresh fruit, yogourt and hot breads (croissants, etc.), coffee, tea.

Depending on the speed of service if you go for the full meal, you might have 3 to 3.5 hours for sleeping before arrival in CDG.

Hope you enjoy your trip http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
