Adding Lap Infant

Booked two award flights on Aeroplan for a Singapore Airlines flight. I called Aeroplan to add a lap infant to the flights, but the customer service rep stated that since it is a Singapore Airlines flight, he cannot add the lap infant and I must contact Singapore Airlines to do so. Is this true?

No AP should be able to add lap infant to your ticket, maybe check with another agent.

I hung up and called again; the 2nd Aeroplan phone agent was able to add the infant without issue. Aeroplan lap infant tickets emailed to me and I confirmed on Singapore Airlines website the lap infant is indeed on the itinerary. Thank you!
