First checked bag fee in basic economy
Hi folks,
I'm looking to book a multi city basic economy ticket from Oslo > Montreal > London. The Air Canada website says that first checked bag will be CAD/USD 75 or it will be charged in the local currency. This fare would be in Norwegian kroner and so can anyone advise if it will simply be CAD 75 converted to NOK at the current market rate or is there any way I can find out what it will be before booking? I tried calling CS but was on hold for an hour and so gave up.
I couldn't see any way to add baggage at the point of booking and so will I be able to add the baggage to my booking after it has been confirmed or will I have to wait until OLCI opens?
Thanks!

If you get a CC (TD or CIBC aeroplan infinite, or privilege infinite visa or Amex aeroplan) that includes the first checked bag on AC metal, you won't have to pay for those AC flights.

Thanks for the tip. I'm a UK resident and so it doesn't look like I'm eligible unfortunately.
