ANA Award Availability to Aeroplan (2022)

Looking for two J seats from HND -> YVR on ANA.
Based on Cowtool, it seems like they're only releasing 1 seat for each flight? I've been looking the moment they release these flights...

Can anyone else confirm this?

Aren't ANA awards bookable by their own elites 30 days before Aeroplan and partners? If so, we are picking up the scraps.

I've seen seats close in though, even 3 to 9 J seats on routes that are never bookable on Aeroplan in advance.

I booked ANA J in August for Christmas / New Years travel.. at the time there was a lot of dates open and available.. but.. with only 1 J seat and 1 Y seat per day. Thought it was a little odd.

NH domestic flights are bookable, which suggests this is an availability issue rather than an IT issue.

It's releasing. There's also some last minute cancellations rolling in on all routes as people cancel

Seems like there are a bunch of first class flights available for similar points pricing for end of November / Early December (just checked now).

Does NH ever release domestic J to AE? I've seen lots of Y seats but no J.

These are ANA First to HNL and AC J (I assume) HNL-YVR.

No. ANA has some inventory exclusive to their own members but they release at 355 days out and thats true of partner bookable space.

There is no issue with ANA availability via AP or any other program. Japan is in high demand after being closed for so long; people are taking the space right when it releases. If you arent at your computer prepared to book at that moment you are likely to miss out.

OP: They are indeed releasing only one seat to partners on that route when the calendar extends. You will find thats the case for business class on almost all the routes. If you want more than one seat youll need a different plan.

One seat available per day is also very different than No availability at all.

Strange since I had booked two seats on J for YVR -> HND early October. Was the change to one seat a recent change?
