Long shot but anyone have any recent DPs for 2023 status acquired or gifted from Jan 1st onwards?
Also on the Aeroplan my profile page there is a button to "Request a physical card", is this just the Aeroplan membership card, not the elite kit?
I was recently gifted 35k for 2023 and would like to make sure I receive a kit.

I have heard DPs of people requesting the membership card before receiving their kits and their kits never showed up. My guess is that request alerts AC that you have already received a kit.

I requested a card a few months ago. I have not received it or the kit. Shortly after I requested it I think I read somewhere that they had put a hold on sending them out.

My kit arrived today at my Alberta address, being held hostage by the ex-wife. Had to negotiate its release, went from granting E50 down to providing the two status passes.......it was a tough negotiating session, wasn't pretty!

The kit is not worth a penny, well, probably 2 pennies. Not sure what leverage she held over you. You can just gift those tags to her to show your generosity.

I called a few days ago and was told the date of Jan 20th (agent clarified if I was asking for status tiers or the status KITS; I said kits), of when they'd be sending them back out.

Still haven't received anything but might be worried since heading to Australia and not sure if the VA lounges would accept the digital card instead for lounge access. Worst case I will phone in to get it expedited but I think mine is on the way with the Feb batch as in previous years.

Mrs Viper (SE) is traveling to Austria to see her family next week. Still no physical card for her. Last one she got was 35K. Flying on certain Germanic airlines too that have a problem with no physical card access for lounges. To say I am a bit upset about her lack of packages is an understatement.
I just called again today. Saying I have plenty of datapoints of members receiving their packages all over the past few months. They said I must be mistaken as no packages will be sent out until Feb 16.
I dont get how this is even a thing. Shes SE since September and her last package she received was 35K.

Ive had it both ways with them unfortunately. But it also raises another issue as her family lives there and she flies Lufthansa and Austrian a lot (and LOT sometimes too) and we sometimes Credit to the other airlines. And we cant do that on these trips or run the risk of them not taking the electronic card on the app and asking for a physical to prove AC*G
