Partially Checked In

In all my years of flying, I’ve always been able to check into all my flight legs at once. Today, I was able to check in for my YHZ to YYZ flight but not the YYZ to VCE leg. How come? Is it something to be worried about? It said see agent for the the second leg.

Could be doc check or seat assignment due to aircraft change ?

This has happened to me on my last two flights from YUL - YXE connecting through YYZ on a latitude fare. It is kind of a nuisance because you have to go to the counter to check in. The regular agents need to usually get their supervisor to get it figured out. Today at YUL the supervisor said that it happened already a couple times today.

I did not lose out on my confirmed eUpgrade.

Thank you ConAir. That was my main concern. I have a confirmed upgrade from premium econ at the moment for that VCE flight.

My guess would be that the flight from YYZ to VCE has ONE(1) empty seat. So any overbooking will cause check in issue if overbooked.

That means there's one seat for sale.

There is definitely not one empty seat.

Not that an overbooking would prevent check-in.

If there's a simple answer, it's probably that the flight in question is 28+ hours away. It might work in 4 hours 11 minutes.

Just to update, check in for the Venice flight didn’t work at 8pm either.

This is what the flight looks like now. What caused the issue was that I had originally tried to eup and was hoping it would clear at my window. Only my YHZ to YYZ flight cleared at the window. When I looked at the Venice flight at my window, there weren’t a lot of seats at all. I got offered an instant upgrade and I took it as a result of the way the flight looked. That is what screwed up the checkin. It’s all good now and I have my boarding passes.
