A330-300 Fleet Overview
AC currently hasthree two configurations of 333:
The aircraft are gradually being refurbished to the Dream Cabin standard. Please see the refurbishment thread for further details of that program.
Seats to Avoid
Seat 1A, Bins above used by Emergency EquipmentSeat 8A/8K, Missing Windows + Oxygen Tank in Bin above Seat

AC currently has
- Dream Cabin (16 aircraft): new configuration more in line with the product on AC's 787 and 777 fleets (seat map)
XM: AC's old configuration dating from the mid-2000s, which is being phased out (seat map)- SQ (2 aircraft): Singapore Airlines configuration, which is being phased out (seat map)
- Important note: the front cabin on these aircraft is an angle-flat product in a 2-2-2 layout that was SQ's "regional" business class. On flights within North America, AC sells it as J; on international flights, they sell it as PY. These aircraft do not have a normal PY cabin
- As of October 2023, these aircraft appear to be mostly used on YYZ/YUL-BOG, YUL-ALG, and domestic/TB TCONs (e.g. YUL-YVR/LAX)
The aircraft are gradually being refurbished to the Dream Cabin standard. Please see the refurbishment thread for further details of that program.

I was on FIN 936 today from YVR to YUL sitting in 8K. As many have previously said (including me) it is not quite as comfortable as the wider seats on the 777 and 787. There is very little storage and the screen is a bit smaller. The shoulder belt is better than the airbag. Still a much nicer rider than the older cabin.

Does anyone have experience with the preferred Y seats in the new config? I'm on the taller side so extra leg room is my primary concern, but I'd also prefer to be closer to the front if the bulkhead isn't too obtrusive. I usually don't mind the outside bulkhead rows on the 777 or 787 (i.e. 18C/H) - would it be similar on the 333? I see that row 19 is also sold as preferred on the 333, is it actually a larger pitch than normal Y?

19H/19K has a couple extra inches but nothing compared to 18H/18K
Economy Class (Seat 18H/18K)
*The cutout is big enough to put my laptop backpack underneath, a Win there 👍

Y on the refurbished A330 looks a lot better than Y on the 777/787 (AKA slave ships).

The Y row 18 bulkhead seats on the 333 DC looks/seems so much nicer than its AC Boeing DC counterparts.
The "slave ship" moniker was strictly for the 777HDs. Definitely not for the Dreamliners.

Yes although I realise this, Y in the 777's is all the same in terms of seat pitch and width. The 787's are not much different.

I don't notice that much of pitch difference between 777/787 vs. 333.
The cutout will help the tall folks or a storing a personal item.
Seat width is different story, that extra 1 inch on the 333 is very noticable
it just feels tight/uncomfortable on the 777/787

Yes Row 18 bulk on the Dream Cabin 333 is really good, I could easily fly that or the 223 Bulkhead all day long

Yes, personal item can be stored in the cutout since it opens through to the Seat Bottom of Row 14
FAs didn't say a thing during take-off and landing during safety check.
Which also means 18D/18G gets less underseat storage space because of the PY/Y aisle realignment

I often see FOTSGs leave stuff at their feet at the sans-cutout/cubby bulkhead.

Hi all, I'm going to be flying YYZ-BCN in economy later this year on a newly refurbished A330 (not one of the ex-SQ aircraft). I'm pretty tall at 6'7" and I'm considering the rear exit row window seats 33A/33K. I know the rear exit row on their 787-9 is missing a window, and half of the legroom is taken up by the exit row door. Is the rear exit row seat on the newly-done A330 any good? If the window is aligned and the legroom is good then I might go for one of those seats, but otherwise 18A/C/H/K looks like my best bet. Thanks everyone.

Please refer to the Cabin photos posted in Post 905, 982 and 1114.
You can see if 3A and 4A are missing windows or not in the photos if you look closely.
