I was really impressed with the food in YYC yesterday. Sliders, fried chicken, even the pizza (though it would have been better if it were a bit warmer).

I did not get a picture, but the YHZ MLL had a donair salad when I was there on Oct 30.
i have not seen a donair salad anywhere before!
lettuce, tomatoes, onions, donair meat and donair sauce.
i was just leaving the lounge when I saw it, so did not get a chance to try it.

Gonna be arriving into YYC on Friday. Will be using the arrivals lounge benefit for the 1st time for a quick bite before grabbing the rental car. Looking forward to it

The answer is yes there is smoked meat. YUL TB was not too crowded at 17:30 and the smoked meat sandwiches are reasonably generous. Maybe 1/4 the thickness of the middle part of a Schwartz's sandwich, but the meat extends right out to the crust. Attempt to upload photo failed.

YUL international lounge, 10 Nov 2022:
Arrived here at 2:45pm, quite quiet.
Slowly filling up as I write this post.
The food was pretty good, not great, but good.
Nice to have hot food options other than the buffet.
My one complaint is that the over they use to warm the bread / food is obnoxiously loud. Sounds like those ovens at Subway that beep incessantly when the timer is up.
Other than that, decent experience as usual.

Anyone know if the YVR international MLL hours on the website are accurate right now? Have an 11:20am ANA flight next Sunday, and the hours show the lounge not opening until 11, but I see there's an AC flight scheduled for 9:45 that day. Could the hours be wrong, or does Air Canada really just not open the lounge for that flight?

I avoid YEG and the old YYC lounge (pre bartenders) for that exact reason.
AC should give these guys a lifetime membership to Westjet lounges. 😂
