Was here last week. Got there 5 PM for my 8 PM flight and I was the only one there. within 20 minutes the place got packed. Service was excellent. Meal took less than an hour

Ordered two appetizers Salad and corn soup

I should have ordered this thrice, lol. Wish I was more greedy.

Better than Hgen Daz

I was actually full but wanted to try this Pork Belly Bao. Was ok.

Signature Lounge at YVR. I prefer this lounge compared to YYZ. Nice window views and not as crowded compared to YYZ. When I was there there were two other tables occupied. This was around noon time.

9/10--Appetizers----Service was quite fast here, Food came out within 3 minutes. Much faster than YYZ

8/10-----The beef dish at YYZ is better. IF I had more time I would have gotten the burger also. Oh well, next time.

9/10---Vanilla Ice cream and Tiramisu

Not sure what xiao long bao has to do with soup though? (But yes, a google search confirms it's occasionally misnamed that way... Still, I would not have figured out that's what they meant.)

Anyway, won't beat din tai fung.

It's called that because it's supposed to be juicy enough to be like a dumpling full of soup.

Well, SS Lounge isn't a Michelin star restaurant.

Well, real soup dumplings have real soup in them. The key is to put enough collagen into the soup to make it solidified under room temperature such that it can be put into the dumpling. On the serving temperature it will turn back into soup. It is delicious but probably not very healthy ... (although many believe collagen helps their skin)

Hours of Operation?

Apologies if this has been answered upthread, but I couldn't find the information in the wiki or at the AC website.

What are the current operational hours of the Toronto and Vancouver Signature Suites? Or if they're likely to change between now and October, the hours in October.

Thanks!

YYZ signature Lounge Sept 2023

Apparently, the menu will change next month.

I had the tuna appetizer, steak and risotto this time around.

Tuna was tiny and fishy tasting (no where close to foie gras). Steak was delicious, and I loved the crispy potatoes. Pea risotto was OK

got picked up in the Porsche upon landing.

Has anyone been to the YYZ Suite yet this month and if so any idea of the menu (photos would be great). Has anyone had to wait to get in in the last few weeks?

Thanks!

I was there on Sept 29th about 8pm and there was a line up out the door…maybe a 20 minute before we got in and seated in the dining room.

Oct 2023 YYZ Signature Suites menu

Oct menu.

Not much changed other than they added the Hawksworth burger officially to the menu ( which anyone could have ordered at anytime before if one asked)

I tried the panko shrimp. It was greasy and unmemorable, worse option. I will stick to the fish or steak.

foie gras was delicious. Salad was bland
