Maritimes regional was a big loss for me. It has gone from ~$500 each way for Latitude to over $800 now. When my covid-extended regional flight pass expired and I saw the new prices, I ended up trying Flair and is was $150 for the return trip. I realize that in IRROPS I'd be hosed on Flair and AC has always taken care of me. I value that a lot for work travel, but for leisure I'm usually fine taking the risk.

That's insane. It seems like all sun flight passes have increased but some of them not as dramatically, e.g. 8 credit Florida+ from YVR/YYC/YEG Lat went from 9020 to 9650.

I'm having a tough time seeing how any of the flight passes with massive increases are of value anymore. What would be the advantage of using a flight pass over just buying regular fares, now?

Yikes, that's a massive increase! The Southwestern pass has been a staple for me, for many years. I can't see myself purchasing them ever again at the new price.

I was considering one in next week or two. No longer. Benefits vs value no longer works.

So yes, it has more than doubled in the past few months. When the starting point is, I'm not exactly sure - I was complaining about the $4xx price in November - but it's more than double where it was not long ago.

Agreed. I just bought the 8-credit Flex pass in January at $316 per credit. Its now $544 per credit less than a month later. Disappointing as this was my favourite pass out of Vancouver.

No, there was definitely another increase in the past few months. Up until a few months ago, the 8-credit Latitude pass was $2,982. The per-credit price was the same for 6 vs 8, so if your numbers are correct, then yes, the price has more than doubled ($373 per credit to $818 per credit). But if your e-mail is correct, I think there has even been another increase in there somewhere, because I remember being annoyed that it had gone to something like $450 a credit. Your before price works out to $545 per credit.
So yes, it has more than doubled in the past few months. When the starting point is, I'm not exactly sure - I was complaining about the $4xx price in November - but it's more than double where it was not long ago.

Just scanning a few random previous receipts...
- May 6, 2013: $2,850 (10 Flex Southwestern + Hawaii)
- January 3, 2016: $2,300 (6 Lat credits)
- January 3, 2023: $2,633 (6 Lat credits)
If this is the new price point, that will be the last Southwestern pass for me.
