The "temporarily suspended" notice is gone, and the description has been updated to say Porsche instead of BMW.

Great news. Now please turn the showers back on in the MLLs

False alarm it seems... Back to "Our Chauffeur Service will be temporarily suspended until further notice."

Do we have any indication of when the car service will return?

Electric and Plugin hybrid Porsche services are starting in YYZ today on a 'surprise & delight basis', with services coming to YVR later in the year.

Missed it by a few days. Oh well.

If I'm on a paid J ticket and my partner is on an award ticket (not full flex J) will they refuse to drive the other person?

In theory, yes. In practice, almost for sure not, unless there are no seats left in the car. If the car would otherwise be reserved for you only, they’d probably take both of you.

When I used the previous service in July of 2019 I was paired with a random other passenger (who was going onto the same international flight as me though I’m not sure that mattered.)

So it’s possible the car wouldn’t have space for a pax on a different PNR travelling with someone who is eligible for the service.

Hoping that this will be available for us in early June. Three of us travelling YVR-YYZ-LIS. All in paid business, but each in a separate reservation.

In 2018 or 2019 my wife and I were both in paid J and were met at our inbound gate for a ride over to the international terminal. The person meeting us was only looking for my wife but as I was there I was allowed along for the ride. We were both on the same PNR so not sure why only she was selected. It was kind of fun to see the airport from a different angle, but another time I’d likely give it a pass. Walking is good!

I'm going to be visiting the signature suite for the first time this summer and had a quick question about the chauffeur service. I'll be flying into YYZ from YXU on a Dash 8 and then on to Europe. Will I be eligible for the chauffer service even if the YXU-YYZ leg is in economy because the Dash 8 doesn't have business? If so, do I need to do anything to reserve it?
