CAVEAT - T&C and the Big Banner have discrepancy on blackout or no blackout dates.

"Matching" the 26% off birthday sale over at WS.
Only for tickets in the uncomfortable part of the plane though.

The blackout dates work as expected.

I saw WestJet post their 26% sale (promo: FLY1996 if you wanna check it out) last night and they mis-coded Easter Sunday (Apr 17) as a blackout date when their T&C specified that they meant Monday, Apr 18 to be the black-out. I need to travel on Apr 17 so I'm glad I woke up to an almost-matched AC sale for this date.

I know Ontario schools never took Easter Monday off, but BC Schools always had.
Thought the Easter Monday (Apr 18) blackout was targeted at BC markets.

Not accepting code as of 10:00 pm ET Feb 28 .... says expired ... wanted to see if the flights I booked yesterday actually are any cheaper.

Westjet code still works though.

Yes, well, despite the T&C specifically saying it's good until 11:59pm from your city of departure in Canada, I've seen it say expired well before the time shown on other promos. If I really wanted to buy something, I called in and the agents were happy to book on my behalf with the discount applicable. The last time this happened, I had a great agent who not only saw the info on her system but she already knew what the T&C said on the website.

And I just took this now, so it still works. Call i if you want to do some shopping.

Here I am in HNL and I read your post so i went in and started to book and the 25% code took, but it won't execute!

I got so excited as I was in the air on the 28th the entire day and never saw the promotion. Hey AC I was between AC delays, can we have a redo on the sale???

In their rush to copy the WS flash sale, I guess they forgot to check that everything was aligned

All of the blackout dates are really annoying as someone who can only really travel on weekends. Fortunately the return flight didn't fall on a blackout date, so I just booked a one-way in comfort for the price of Flex, and the joke will be on AC if I end up refunding because there's no motivation to actually book the outbound portion of my trip

The banner on AC.com has updated to reflect the sale's extension 'til March 7, matching WestJet's extension from a few hours ago. There's no mention of 25% off base fares anymore (just like WestJet's sale) so it really just boils down to what's available and if you're lucky. I had some Google Flight notifications fire that reflect the 25% discount on the base fare on the same flight I booked directly with AC yesterday, only there's no promo code applied when you click through from Google so it looks like a blanket reduction on base fares for dates/itineraries on lucky searches.

Travel dates for the sale are now through Dec. 15

Sale page now says "No blackout dates", whatever the heck that means: https://www.aircanada.com/en-ca/seat...nerdotcom|caen

This seems like one of AC's non-event "sales" thats not really a sale...

Everything I looked at is the same as it was yesterday pre-code.

Oddly enough, I saw a couple of Latitude fares that were cheaper.

Not 25% mind you, more like 10%.
