If you have general questions about how to earn SQM/SQS/SQD, please see the status qualification thread.
If you have received an incorrect amount of SQx/points, please see the thread on missing/incorrect flight activity.

Should I let you make that change?
Yeah, it occurred to me when I updated everything from my recent trip that the Bovine has done a bit of domestic US flying this year, and I haven't bugged him since NAS-EWR-DEN in January.

I flew the following flights last week on a standard fare, so perhaps the difference of 1 mile was due to rounding purposes:
289 miles was credited for YVR-YWG, so x 4 = 1156 (as opposed to the 1157)
YWG-YYZ was credited at 233 miles x 4 = 932 (933 on the github table)
289 miles was credited for YVR-YWG, so x 4 = 1156 (as opposed to the 1157)
YWG-YYZ was credited at 233 miles x 4 = 932 (933 on the github table)

YWG-YYZ is definitely 933 under the new program.

No worries! My dashboard has rounded up the totals also.
I have a two-three week pause on flights (originally the booking window for my second vaccination), but I have several new or updated city pairings for you later in August.

How does one calculate the expected SQD for a flight pass credit. It seems incredibly inconsistent and I just did 2 legs on an East-West Connector flight pass and was awarded what seems like half of the normal SQD. Thoughts (or guidance on the calculator)?

The SQD for an FP credit should be equal to the per-credit value (net of sales taxes) less 3rd party charges (AIFs, ATSC, etc) on a comparable revenue ticket.
So if you want to check what they awarded you for SQD, look at making a revenue booking for the same route and you should be able to get to the right number.
(For passes touching other countries, FX can occasionally move it around a bit, but you should still get close; in your case, this shouldn't matter, but in case anyone else has similar issues)

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/air-...a-cowtool.html will also tell you.
They issue the ticket sanely, so the total is the credit cost, then there's all the necessary taxes, and the base fare becomes the leftover, which is what's eligible for SQD.
And if you want to know how big a difference the taxes/fees make, I flew SFO-YVR and YVR-SFO this past weekend, using two credits from the same FP. The outbound was 317 SQD, the return was 270 SQD.
