Using the new digital MLL passes - information & experiences (2021 onwards)

I now have 4 digital MLL passes in the app. They all have unique barcodes and contain my Aeroplan number.

It would appear difficult or impossible to transfer.a pass to another person unless standing beside that person at the lounge check in desk.

On web, it downloads a pdf. On the app, you can just take a screenshot.

Your statement is only true if both parties don't have email.

Interestingly, I show 4 when looking at my AE account on my desktop, but the app on my iphone only shows 2.

Silly question, but for the Maple Leaf Lounge One-Time Guest Passes that we get with Elite status, when the pass is used, does it automatically delete off of our accounts? Or do we just have to guess which are used and which are unused?

As far as I know they delete. The status passes do for sure.

Any recent reports with gifted 2021 MLL QR Code passes?

Any recent reports with gifted 2021 MLL QR Code passes?
Will be emailing one to a friend soon for their enjoyment.

I was going to post this question in the gifting MLL passes thread, but I think asking this here makes more sense... mods feel free to move as you see fit.

I thought I used my two passes back in April but on the AC app and on the website it still shows that I still have two "available passes". I'm flying on Sunday and would like to use them if possible, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has used theirs and has seen them disappear or marked as used.

I sent one to a friend at the end of February who used it at YVR. He had no issues on an AE redemption as a non-status pax.

Your best bet would be to call in and ask.

I mean... in theory...

I'd be shocked if they can give you an answer.

I'd be somewhat shocked if the agent has ever heard of a digital MLL pass.

If you look at the page coding on aircanada.com, "Available Passes" appears in the coding as "unused mll", so theoretically, it should remove off the list when it's actually used. But we know the tech issues...
