I understand how these "little" things help save costs, but I am not sure if this press release is really necessary! Also, are these relatively little things that AC should focus all its efforts? I think AC needs more than a cut on chips, cookies, lemon, lime and OJ to save itself from more financial troubles.

Well, this info was on an employee newsletter which was intended for employees and not everyone else (or the media). Until AC goes ahead and password protect the achorizons site, this will never stop.

Yes, CNN fails to mention that this is an exercise in optimization and reducing waste.
But CNN wasn't alone in mistaking that pax will shortchanged lemons and limes in their drinks...

BTW, I really enjoyed my pre-flight orange juice on YYZ-ATL this evening. Just like the good old days.
