Well, I booked it. Off to YUL from YYZ in an hour on a $95 free ticket. Yeah, I know its still cheaper then a regular ticket but that aint the point. It should be free!
Just using it because I have to go and I have the points, I guess AC got me there.
But my Aerogold which is how I get my points has now officially met its end.

I specifically stopped at the aerogold kiosks in YYZ YEG and YYC this week and told them they had lost my business until the surcharges come off.They were noting those types of complaints.

Oh my aerogold card is cut up and returned to them I also asked for ALL my card fee money back!
WE need more people to do this!
PS I also cancelled my Diners Club
My Avion card works great and the AA miles will be very useful at least I can redeem them!

Just returned from my $95 free trip YYZ>YUL.
I must say that the extra $50 was well worth the expense, after all what is $50 for the peace of mind of knowing you won't run out of fuel mid-air?
As well there were other considerable improvments on board: Personal fuel guages at each seat, your very own "fuel scented" wash-cloth, pilots now have key-chain fuel cards for quick fill ups and a 45 page color brochure detailing the history, composition and the many colours of jet fuel.
All in all a wonderful flihgt. Oh! one last detail. With all the focus on the fuel promos they must of overlooked my checked bag - has yet to show up.

It went to HKG and will be subject to ten days quarantine when it is returned.
