Absolutely not. High sodium content and depressingly bland.
Most likely created in the laboratory of an institutional food supplier, it was engineered to maintain a shape and texture that allowed for it to be squeezed out in large numbers. IMO it was formulated to incorporate the cheapest ingredients that minimized the potential for any going bad while the product was heated, cooled, reheated and sitting around for an extended period of time. It is ideal for those with sensitive gums and impaired mastication ability. In the event of an onboard emergency, the omelette can be used as emergency caulking and/or emergency plaster to stop bleeding or to cover a puncture wound.
