Earning Aeroplan Miles on AA codeshare operated by United and Cathay Pacific?
I have a YOW-ORD-HKG-DPS flight next year sold by American Airlines but operated by United and Cathay Pacific. Will I be able to earn Aeroplan Miles from this?

For the UA operated, yes. For CX operated, no. I don't even know if there are ticketing requirements, but it's only a very small set of regional routes from HKG that are eligible, and DPS is not one.
