Can anyone post the "learn more" link? This isn't showing up for me on any device in any browser.

I literally just made two large bookings yesterday and just cancelled them within the 24 hour window when I saw this. But I don't see the 50% discount coming up now? Is it not active yet?

Since it's a rebate you'll get the miles back later.

"Aeroplan Miles will be credited back to your account within three weeks after the qualifying flights are completed."

Interesting no multicity with a stopover....

I looked at YYCYYZ which I booked for $221 last week.
It would be 6250 miles + $83
so just above 2cpm.

Probably would work best with small cities with expensive fares

My first instinct would have been YYZ-HNL in J. Is there even flights / availability?

Try logging on to Aeroplan, it’s getting hammered. Rebooked 3 flights into J from Y, after the 3rd ticket at 5:30 I couldn’t do anything else.

I refunded a few already and booked Comfort fares, but now I may need to switch back to Aeroplan.

Exactly. It is not the cost of flights or lack of wanderlust that are preventing me from booking anything. I just am not willing to travel right now because the overall experience does not look fun at all, both in the air or on the ground. Not to mention several travel restrictions and quarantine requirements are still likely to be in place in one form or another for several months. Not to mention public health directives still caution against non-essential travel (or non-purposeful as some posters might say).

This all looks very tempting. Iíve got places I would like to go. But I donít know how to get around the reality that I would not have insurance that would cover me against COVID if I picked it up. AC keeps tempting me with good offers, but I canít see actually taking any until the insurance issue is resolved. (Iím assuming the Manulife insurance AC offers does not cover COVID anymore than my other insurance plans?)
