Superelite email no longer in use?

I called Air Canada today after waiting 4 days for an email response and was told they are no longer using the super elite email address.

As of right now it is still posted in the altitude contact us page for SE.

1. Do you have a question or are you just making a statement

2. I see a contact email address on my page under Priority Contacts. If you logged into your own SE Altitude page, you should see one in the middle section.

3. Maybe AC doesn't want to receive emails from SEs.

You believe what you heard from a reservations agent on the phone about that?

I'm skeptical of that, and you really shouldn't be posting that address on a public forum based solely off the word of someone at reservations.

Publishing an address like that gets unwanted attention--Another vote on editing your post.

Though if the email didn't bounce, it likely is sitting in a queue. Perhaps waiting for travel to resume to normal patterns to be able to pay said agents to read cases from the queue.

Worse case, you still have other means of contact..... Phone #s on both SE+concierge cards. Some unrandomly selected customers also might have AC Corporate security contacts from prior incidents

I've rarely received responses within the 4 days that the OP seems to be annoyed about when writing to that e-mail address. I would never use it for anything time-sensitive.

+1 for OP @tcook052 removing the email from post#1

Perhaps AC is triaging emails:
-If you are emailing to buy a flight, we'll reply in <4 days
-If you are emailing to request a refund, we'll reply in 40 days

That e-mail was always a bit confusing. It's an aircanada e-mail, but it's really only for Aeroplan related inquiries. The only time I used it was to get my MM balance before I crossed the 500k threshold.

I've used it. It has always been answered eventually (30 days or so) except for one email I wrote a couple years back.

The unanswered email complained about some DH4 overhead bins not being able to accommodate legal carry-ons, which when combined with the SE preferred seat benefit could cause issues.

I've e-mailed them about a number of issues over the years, not all related to Aeroplan, and generally found that they'll respond, even if it's just passing it on to the appropriate people.

AC doesn’t lose baggage, they only occasionally have it delayed: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/32354900-post58.html
