Expiring flight credits?
My apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. Is Air Canada extending expiring flight credits from pre-COVID era cancelled flights? I have one credit that expires at the end of May - and another at the end of June.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I've been wondering the same. I'm coming up on expiry on $300 and $500 certificates. I'm sure someone here can give me sage advice on how not to lose their value if they aren't extending these.

Lots of credits, no international travel
I have a $1000 credit and a $300 credit (for seat and other issues) that have some time to expire but I don't expect to travel to Asia until there is a vaccine available. It I book a ticket for December using a credit then change it to March (past credit expiry) would that work. I Wish that they could be used for flight passes.

I just spoke to AC reservations. They extended these bookings, which were cancelled pre-COVID crisis but due to expire now/next month, by 24 months from the initial date of cancellation. Of note is that should I rebook in more than 1 year from now, the ticket number will no longer be valid and they will have to look up the file in archives and create a new ticket number. The agent on the line was very helpful and informative.
