Postal Code issue in AC's Ticket Refund Application form
Does anyone else have issues using the form here - https://refundservices.business.cond...Refunds/Create
It won't validate my postal code regardless of whether I use upper or lower case; space or no space; Chrome, Edge or Opera. And since this is a mandatory field, I can't submit my application without a "valid" postal code. Is this just another sneaky way for AC to prevent people from applying for refunds? |
I tested the form and found a few "inconsistencies" and the Postal Code field was not the only one.
Otherwise, more than a year ago I had read elsewhere that AC's refund services is outsourced to a huge American conglomerate. I certainly felt that was the case when I had to communicate with a CSR. The URL of the form linked by OP (highlight mine) https://refundservices.business.conduent.com/AirCanada/Refunds/Create just saying.....and it may, or may not matter |
I can’t speak to this form, but in the past I have had validation issues with my actual postal code (X1X 1Y6) vs the way it was formatted. When I moved into my building it was new, and a number of address validation databases (even 18-24 months in) did not have my postal code in their database.
In the end I used the generic postal code for the street (X1X 1Y4) which was in the database. My Nexus and EZPass accounts are both databases that had this issue. |
