One isn't an upgrade, it's just regular qualification.

So the donations are separate from the travel at home upgrade? Gotcha.

Why the deduction of the 1500 and 3000 AQM? This confuses me...

You mean deduction of the 1,500/4,500 Aeroplan miles? Because for some reason, AC decided it wanted to award AQM but not Aeroplan miles. Why they decided that, who knows. It saves them a few bucks, but also adds cost for them to administer and annoys customers.

This is petty...I probably would have done the miles transfer anyway, but who could have come up with the idea that 4500 miles would be deducted from the AP account as reward for participating - in good faith - in the promotion. AQM are worth more than AP miles for sure ... but I was always under the impression that an AQM is always an AP mile.

Just as I thought Aeroplan would be more straightforward once aligned with Altitude, we now have more things to fuss about.

Similarly to the MM credit of 25000. Will they credit as AQM but not Aeroplan Miles?

I see
+1500 AQM
+3000 AQM
+25000 AP
-1500 AP
-3000 AP

didn't see the 25000 AQM and didn't see 25K added to my MM field yet. Also didn't see the 1000 AQD

I did see the 20eUP credits

Oddly enough, from the beginning I didn't interpret the MM bonus as being AQM, but rather simple AP, because that at least seemed to be quite clearly stated. I did count ton 29500 total AP from the transfer promo, though...

Interesting. I still don't have mine, and I think you're the first to mention them.

The terms always explicitly stated the 4500 would be deducted.

The MM not being AQM was only "clearly stated" well after the promotion started and they updated the terms (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/32322298-post179.html).

FYI

05 May, 2020
Credits Earned
PROMOTION expires (28 Feb, 2022)
+20

I wish promos could be simple. It's a relatively big "commitment" to bring in 250K Amex points and turn around to donate 125K. Actually the donation promo was very nicely presented and hopefully useful to the organizations receiving those. But if a Quirsh can be a Thrursh and.all Thrushes are Quirshes, are all Quirshes Thrushes? I used to be quite confident knowing the answer, but now.... I am not so sure anymore.

Grrr..... I was past 100k the day everyone started to report receiving things, which was the day I got the 4500 AQM, but no eUps.

And I'm at 250k now, so ... I better get the rest. It also means I've completed all the activity needed to cross MM.

The total needs to be 100k.

Purchased 50k+45k at 90% and transferred in 3k from AMEX so I should be at 50500 for TAH. Hoping the P25K posts sooner than the Aug 31 mentioned in the fine print. We'll see.

If you did, I forgot, or more likely it was before I joined (~8PM Mountain) or after I left (~midnight Mountain)
