I scrolled thought at least 20 pages of the main thread for the Signature Suite, looking for a post that may have had earlier versions of the entry requirements. So far, I found one post from April 2018 https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/29602231-post1132.html
Maybe someone can find something different.

Or see 24left's post in the other thread.
The answers to both your questions are "no". Well technically the first answer is "yes, I know, it does not give access".

Thanks all. Could have been when I was travelling to Europe on an Aeroplan J ticket and I asked the rep at the suite entrance desk if I could have access (SE too). Pretty sure he said only access is for PE flex or paid J class. Obviously I am wrong, but pretty sure I recall that was the case. This was right around when it was opened so perhaps the rep didn't know. Now I know : )

Where does AC's South America start?
OK, don't yell at me but I haven't gone near the airport for ever and suspect I have forgotten how to fly. I have only used the SS in YYZ and that was almost 3 years ago.
Mrs T and I are off to MEX in paid J mid March - you know what I'm going to ask... We are travelling on a P fare. I don't think the service is considered a SIgnature Class Service so I guess the conversation ends there but I just thought I would seek clarification from all you SS Types out there to see if we were eligible to enter the hallowed halls..... Your kind, gentle, and understanding thoughts would be appreciated.

On the specific SS YVR page, Australia is listed at the top of the page.

i've always understood that award redemptions were not granted access to the Signature Suites.
Now i'm reading Information posted here and the AC website stating that "Only Aeroplan flight rewards booked as a Business Class Flexible Reward or a First Class Flexible Reward in J, C, D, Z, P, I booking classes are eligible for access."
my award redemption flight to europe is a "lowest" but shows as being in "P" on my ticket.
are both lowest and flexible booked in P with the differentiation being noted elsewhere for lounge agent to see?
