Google Flights now works with AC branded fares - sometimes

I was looking at some AC flights on Google Flights and noticed that, after selecting the flights, it offered me the choice of Standard, Flex, Comfort, or Latitude.

I thought "Wow, this is great!"

As I played around a bit, it seems like the implementation is a bit inconsistent. It often doesn't offer Basic. Sometimes it only shows Basic up to Flex. Sometimes doesn't show Latitude. And so on.

When looking at Business, it offers Business (Lowest) and PY (Lowest), but not Business (Flexible).

So it looks like it still needs some work, but would be nice to see them get this up and running properly. It's a start.

Awesome. No more futzing with redirects.

I think "complimentary alcoholic drinks" is going to cause issues. It's way too specific to be anything other than manual entry, but it's also incorrectly pluralized.

Wish there was a way in GF to select different AC fare basis for outbound & return segments, e.g. P / business restricted on outbound and B / flex economy for return. I can do it on AC.com when booking return trips. This GF limitation is not just on AC fares.

Hmmm I agree, and that actually makes me question my behavior. Usually when I want to buy "simple" AC flights, I go to AC.com. But GF may actually be easier to search and filter for exactly what I want if I can then dump it into CO or FL easily.

And if it's not simple, GF is not going to help.

The AC website is slow to bring up results and crap at filtering, so if Google does get this sorted out so that it works consistently and is easy, that will definitely be a better option than ac.com.

How am I just seeing this now? This is really a step-up from what it used to be where you would have to try and get the crazy segment run from GF as a non-basic fare booking on the AC website.

That error message I always used to get would drive me absolutely nuts!
