Unlike Alaska's current double EQM promotion, this is only for new bookings. In my opinion, the AC promotions department fell short on this as it doesn't discourage people from cancelling current bookings. They should have made this retroactive at least for a portion of time.

I'm not saying it's good, just that it happens to be their general approach.

I totally agree. It's always " the new " bookings. I think this is a bit short sided though; unless they are playing a phased approach with their promotions and saving better ones for round 2 or round 3. I think there are many that will cancel upcoming trips if they haven't already. If the major world carriers are any sign, there will be large demand reductions coming very shortly.

My only guess this time is that > 90% (by segments) of my travel is to another continent and that they miss me in the always stellar YUL DOM MLL. Or something like that.
