For those coming here for the tl;dr redux version of what AC is doing, here is the latest and greatest.
On March 17, 2020, we received bonus eUgrade credits that are noted to expire on May 31, 2021:
S100K received 25 credits, E75K received 20 credits, E50K received 15 credits, etc.
And here is a recent update from jasdou regarding a statement from AC Altitude:

I have the option for E75K for a friend.
Does this mean I can select:
1 x E50K for a friend as part of my SE select benefits; and
1 x E75K for another friend as part of this promotion?
I'm wary of selecting my SE benefits yet as the eUps may be useful late this year (unlikely); otherwise, I was going to give E50K away for the heck of it.

But I'll need to find someone for 75K.

Normally wouldn't be too tough, but for most this year would be about as useful as a flight pass to North Korea.

The bigger issue is that everyone is 25K, and a bunch of people were gifted 50K last year. I'm not sure I want to give 75K to someone who wouldn't even earn 25K, and I'm not sure I want to give it to someone who was already bumped up from 0/25/35 to 50. I'd rather find an actual flying 25 or 35.

I know many people (myself included) who would definitely fly more this year, even just domestic with the extra perks.
Lots of short hops and options to still do travel reasonably safely and enjoy canada without leaving the country.

I want someone who earned 35K with ~45k AQM in 2019, and expects to do the same when flying picks up again.

I have 35k to gift and really can't think of who I'm going to gift it to - family will travel with me so that doesn't make sense. For work, we are grounded until at least September but more realistically the entire year. I assume there's no deadline on gifting the status? I'll hold off until the outlook becomes more clear.
