Not dimming cabin light after sunset - Air Canada Express
Whilst most air travels are safe, I think it's also important to dim the cabin light during evening takeoff to let the passengers to adjust the eye in the event of an emergency. Today I was flying from NYC and during landing, to my surprise the cabin light was not dimmed. Although during descend, it looks bright outside. Once during the approach, it's dark outside. Whilst the crew wasn't bad per se, although they seem fed up with their job. I don't want them to get into trouble.
If I write to AC about that, what would be their likely consequences?

It's fairly frequently reported by FFs that procedure is not followed. From lose coffee mugs to drink carts to forgotten safety videos.
Or at least noted by me.
They are never grateful when you report it.
Be happy you cheated death again and move on with life.

I often wish they kept the lights dimmed for the majority of late evening/night flights!
I enjoy being able to see out the window without much difficulty! Adds to the experience lol
