VCV on the flight status page for incoming flight; maintenance flight?

This is the flight status page for the incoming flight for a flight tomorrow. It shows no waitlist and no incoming flight information. Apparently VCV is some airport in southern California. Is it a maintenance shop?

@zam

VCV as you may know is Victorville CA

Current home to many retired aircraft, storage for many Boeing MAX aircraft that can't fly and it is also where some maintenance etc, is done on aircraft.

Most likely WiFi installation. Fin 853 would have been delivered in new colours scheme.

Surprised AC has spare capacity to take aircraft out of the schedule for non-essential items like Wi-Fi installation or paint. Unless these slots have been held and deposits paid prior to the -MAX debacle.

Regarding going out of service for WiFi installs, I think canadiancow is just lobbying the right people at AC.

Nah, they just have some more slack in the winter schedule.

I didn't think wifi was at VCV, but my only information on that came from FT.
