Evening yyc-lax dropped?

Checked my upcoming trip and 7 pm yyc-lax is gone with 11 am alternative showing up instead. When did they drop it?
Given that this is UA award how likely is AC to rebook on evening yvr connection as morning departure is not an option?

You should be able to obtain the later YVR connection no problem, or even next day. UA MP, as the booking agent, would be handling the rebooking, not AC. Reward inventory availability doesn't matter in this case, only confirmable space.

Why dropped? Just little excess money floating around Calgary these days with so many of its local industries in dire straits such as real estate.

Looks like they've taken 578 @ 19:30 seasonal. It's back on April 1.

Second daily SFO also dropped. I think it's more likely the MAX being grounded that's to blame. They would have likely kept second daily if not for that.

More likely the MAX. You don't see WS dropping their second LAX flight, they are expanding YYC. It's just YYC is their smallest hub, and it's easier to re-route to YVR for AC while aircraft are at a premium.

If there's reward space on the flights in question, should be no issue. If not... that's a question better posed in the UA forum since you're dealing with MP.
