Speculation - what will be big news for AC in 2020?

Will the MAX stay out of service? Will a pilot try to land on top of a UA bird? Will someone overnight in a dark aircraft on the tarmac? Will something spark a record year for profitability?

Let's try to avoid the AP/Altitude speculation here. There's enough of that around.

Here's my guess: a class action suit about falsely advertising benefits will be brought against AC and it will make international news when they have to mail every previous diamond member a breakfast voucher from Fairmont. This will of course cripple AC, given it could cost as much as $500k.

They throw in the towel on the 737Max and acquire major A320neo/A321neo delivery slots from a foreign airline in financial difficulty?

Maybe. But I still don’t think they will serve you a meal on AC289.

Call Centre agents will all know and understand that Latitude eUps, in addition to R, are based on available Z(NA)/P(Intl) space even when R is 0...
Because after 5+ years of this rule in place, 80% of agents still don't know this.

The federal government does not allow the Transat deal to go through... or it does allow it with significant conditions/restrictions on operations at YUL

So you mean simultaneous boarding of Zone 1 & 2 will continue until the end of time?

First announcement simultaneous 1 & 2 isn't SOP though.
