Altitude segment on British Airways

I'm looking at a flight from YYC-LHR-DOH, with the LHR-DOH leg serviced by British Airways. It will be ticketed through Air Canada, but I just want to confirm that I will get credit for both segments towards my Altitude status?

No, you will not earn AQM / AQS / AQD on the LHR - DOH segment that is operated by British Airways.

Check Aeroplan's website for all the partners that you can earn AQM / AQS / AQD on - Under Earn > Travel Partners > Flights.

With Star Alliance ff earning is based on operating carrier if an eligible marketing carrier.
With Oneworld Alliance ff earning is based on marketing carrier if an eligible operating carrier.

For the BA operated LHR-DOH if BA marketed(BA flight number) you could earn to a OW ffp

You can earn Aeroplan points, but as others mentioned, not AQM or AQD

??? I don’t think this is a code share flight, so no Aeroplan points either.
