I just realized that, as a Vancouverite, the embedded irony in that statement about the weather is probably just a little too subtle. Forecasts a week out have a low degree of confidence here.

So book it, but don't be upset if they cancel due to WX.

Hey -- I found a neat deal for this. The sightseeing flights are available on Expedia for $100. But there's a coupon deal right now making it $52.57 to be exact.

Anyone else interested?

Given the typical YVR do, I'm not sure any plans for Saturday "morning" are a good idea for me

I hadn't checked the forecast, but it's YVR in December, doesn't it rain 90% of the time? I suspect most of us have spent enough time in YVR to be aware of the risks

I figured this would be the case for a good number of people

They arrange custom tours at other times as well; I'm sure we could do one at 9 or 10 or something on Saturday morning. Six pax fills up a DHC-2, so if your party, me, and one other FTer who messaged me offline are in, we could make that work and still have room for one more.

Sorry for the late notice but I really thought I was going to be able to make it. Unfortunately I can't go this time

My New Year's resolution is to attend a Do (or two)!

What it would it take to make you attend? I'll buy you a non-MLL drink.

All these non-MLL drink offers sound tempting but I have to go to YYT earlier than expected to sort out some stuff with some research work I did there last summer

I'm for sure going to have major FOMO, this looks like it'll be an awesome Do. I'll take you guys up on the drink/ bag of snacks offers at the next West Coast Do!!
