All that way just for dinner?!? No way, that's crazy. You're a liar! No one would do that.

So join the club!

Actually, his BPs will just say BFSE because he's such a bottom-feeder.
I am sort of new, but I was a long time lurker with no actual FT account for many years.

Yikes, I am going to have to move up the ranks at my soon to be workplace pretty quickly to be able to (reasonably) spend money doing that lol. You guys all know I would love to join though!

So, BFSE - AC*G?

So should I change my Saturday SFO-YYZ non-stop to something more exciting? Do I need to turn my two one-ways into a multi-city?

Is this going to be as indecisive as the YYZ do?

Also whose place am I crashing at?

I may actually have to attend as I've never been to one yet and coincidentally I am flying into YVR on the 20th and staying downtown for a few days.

Since we have a few who can only do the 20th, should we nail down the 20th then? I guess we need a venue too.

Agreed. We should try and book something now as A bunch of places will probably have Christmas parties on the go. Anyone have any preferences? Bar or Restaurant? Ambiance desires (Y, PY, or J)?

So I'm booked in X on 569.

Should I take an earlier flight in J?

Seeing as in the next couple weeks I am likely to be flying both RyanAir and Cathay F, I'd say I'm pretty flexible - Cambie, Shebeen, Cin Cin - all work for me!

This was kicked off by discussion of places to drink whisky, so Sheneen seems highly appropriate

Yes, I was assuming it was The Shebeen from the start.

No, canadiancow has always been using his dad's SE account, according those that work at the airport.

Okay, because this is AC FT, I know there can be some dithering. At the risk over reaching/stepping on toes, I have sent an email to Shebeen/Irish Heather (Shebeen is inside Irish Heather) to see if they have availability on December 20th for a larger group (I guessed at 8-14 based on current interest + wiggle room). Yelp seems wide open for groups of 8, larger than that requires direct contact with the venue and they are closed until Tues. When I hear back I will post a confirmation #/date cutoff and I will not be responsible if you are excluded. Sound reasonable?
