Rad. Simply Rad.

Hopefully it's not the same as the On Hold or Safety Video music.

I don't remember noticing boarding music on either of my AC flights on the weekend. Can't say I'm a fan. I've never enjoyed this on any airline that does it. At best, it has been neutral, and at worst, yet more annoying noise in an environment already over-saturated with it.

That's my fear. The first time I flew ANA, I thought it was neat. The second time, neat. The third time, neutral. Now I can't stand it. And I've only been on 9 ANA flights.

I'm going to have 9 AC flights in the next two weeks. Luckily only 2 are wide-bodies.

Yes. I thought I was on another airline for a moment.

It was a piano-type music on AC739 a couple of weeks ago on a 788. It's only on 787s and 777s (except the 5 original HD fins with the older IFE). It seems to be manually activated.

The key is that it is not too loud, that it is relaxing, and that the soundtrack is rotated.

UA for a while had a really nice playlist of chill instrumentals. They have now introduced songs with lyrics and I can't stand it anymore.

Some recordings from AC call centres would be entertaining

Or even better, recordings from board meetings.

Or, if it's classical music, 1812 Overture, the finale of William Tell Overture, or anything from Franz Liszt

But seriously as long as it's some relaxing music that is not loud I think it will be ok.

Now that might speed up the boarding process, and motivate people to clear the aisles and find their seat.

Maybe they could also look at playing the theme from Jeopardy! inside the lav each time the door is closed, to reduce the lineups and keep things moving.

Classical, the obvious choice is Ride of the Valkyries, except that it might inspire invasion of Poland.

Or just sax guy

As much as Nickelback are awful, they did a great thing with that trump meme takedown...

Hearing Rhapsody in Blue when I get on a plane always gives me warm feelings.
