They can sit together on AC, it just costs your firstborn to do so

Or if "together" means on the same aircraft going to the same destination.

Yes, the airline that had to be told by the government to make sure 2 year olds don't sit next to a stranger instead of a parent is the most family-friendly airline.

Come on, guys. AC does sit families together for free. As long as families ask for it. You cannot blame AC for not sitting together families who don't ask. But no, instead of blaming themselves which would be the fair thing to do, they still blame AC.

Current priority is not good enough? Why should families be ahead of zone 1? Current system seems very reasonable to me, with families already boarding early in the process, before the bulk of the Y cabin gets on. That a couple of SEs in Y get in before them should make very little difference.

Well that may makes them the best airline for solo single adult traveler

And based on the personality of some of them, I am not even sure if they can make this award.

Do they? They waive seat selection fees in advance if you bring along a kid?

Yes, ever since the government made them (or threatened to make them).

Yes... sort of.

They will sit you all in a group together with assigned seats. You cannot SELECT seats, or change what they give you.

But you will get seats confirmed together.

Yes but if you call and get a sympathetic agent, they will move you pretty much to any seat you want for free, except for preferred seats of course.

Having done several trips on AC with our daughter from the time she was 6 months old, I would say that AC is at best kid-neutral. I wouldn’t go as far as call them kid-friendly. However that may be my perception because of status and thus can get the family into lounges and get priority boarding anyway.

IME, AC gates run by United tend to board families first (or maybe I’m just remembering MSP multiple times so maybe just 1 place but I don’t think so.

Or perhaps the best reason to purchase this “award”.

Do you want families and their kids bump into you with their oversized diaper bags and toys as they walk past you while you're sitting and enjoying your welcome drink ?

As opposed to being bumped by those same families and their baby/kid equipment at the gate, where you're standing rather than sitting and don't have a PDB?
