In what way are the CAD rates marked up? The conversions seem completely on point to me. In fact US$901 converts to CAD$1201 and US$199 converts to CAD$265 at current rates, making the CAD fares marginally cheaper than their USD counterparts.

Sometimes there can be point of sale differences in fares too, but I don't see it in this example. Of course one can argue about what exchange rate should be used for the conversion, but most people would probably think that the interbank rate (that a credit card would use to convert currency) is reasonable rather than a buy or sell rate offered for currency, for example at an airport exchange booth or a major bank.

Priced in CAD it's $157, priced in USD it's $147. The USD screenshot shows the CAD price (147) that was converted to USD

I'm more interested in the Taxes, Fees and Charges breakdown.

Yes, just noticed that. Conversion looks right but setting POS to the USA dramatically lowers taxes and fees, which doesn't make sense.

I seem to recall reading about this somewhere before. Different taxes are charged based on POS.
