Earn miles on AC flights purchased via Chase points (Expedia) portal?

I did search for a similar thread but did not find anything that covers this case.

I booked a (P) DCA-YYZ-MEX trip via the Chase points (Expedia) portal last month and now I'm wondering if I'll earn AQM/AQD for this trip or if they're somehow "exempt" like the Avion purchased flights.

I am aware this is not the best use of points but my partner needed some more AC spend and I need some miles to make status for next year. 1.5c/point is good for me in this circumstance.

I should note that when booking economy flights via this portal it does show the different AC fare options and mileage earning percentages but not when searching business class.

The fare Basis is PYE71EL but I can't make heads or tails of the fare rules on EF.

Anyone else book AC flights in the past through Chase?

Yes, you will collect Air Canada miles via the Chase Expedia portal.
