Does LOT airlines release business class aeroplan award seats close to departure like Lufthanasa /Swiss does?

LOT pushes bid upgrades aggressively, before checkin, at checkin and at the airport.
I'd really be surprised they would give any more seats for free apart from the initial offering.

And it will vary by route. North America-Poland routes less likely, more obscure routes like BUD-ORD, or BUD-ICN, probably.
