AC104 July 31: "We're sorry, this flight is cancelled due to booking issues"
What does "booking problems" mean as a reason for a cancelled flight?
Seems my AC104 YVR-YYZ for tomorrow is cancelled and now replaced with a new flight number AC2104. As far as I can tell it's still on 787-8 though all the seat assignments seem to be scrambled. Went through all the "you're flight is cancelled" alerts then got a rebooked an hour or so later with the same itinerary. Just wondering what the deal is? |
I see this as an aircraft swap from 787-9 (#104 originally) to 787-8 (now #2104 )

Weird, since when do they use a 2XXX flight number for an equipment swap? I thought that was reserved for (typically mechanical) cancellations that end up going the next day.

the next day, AC106 is cancelled as FIN 734 and replaced at same departure time by AC2006 as FIN 733. Both 77W. What is the pattern or legend for the 2xxx sections? |
