Upgrade disappearing
So you check your file. Suddenly you are back in Y, upgrade for the leg was cancelled, no notification, apparently equipment unchanged, but no longer showing seat map in J. Anyway, smells bad, smells like the CRA is getting switched to a CRJ or a Dash-8. Last minute, no longer any reasonable alternate routing left with J seats available. Calling AC, agent goes through same process. Eventually finds somewhere what's going on, switch to a Dash-8 is in process. Anyway, that's it, nothing else to do. This for an itinerary already changed from Signature service to regular service. Time for getting a couple of complaints ready, and collecting a couple of discount codes I guess... :-(

I had a CRA downgauged to a DH4 once, and I didn't find out until I stepped on board.
2A is a perfectly valid seat on both, right?
I never got anything beyond a refund of the credits. Which was 0, due to a much longer connecting flight.
I didn't care about the downgrade so much as the lack of any kind of notification by email, phone, at the MLL, or while boarding.

Couple of discount codes would not hurt though...
