Air Canada Canada Day video

Saw this video on my Facebook page this morning and I must say kudos to Air Canada. Perhaps because I live abroad, this video made July 1st a bit more special to me:

Pretty thin gruel here. I was hoping for a 15% discount, like when the Raptors won.

Wow! I thought they missed the boat with this. Granted the idea is a nice one as Canada Day is a BIG deal but the tiny budget to make this makes me wonder why they bothered. They should consider using WJ's ad agency and put ROI (and management bonuses..) aside just for once.

Nice little clip, I guess, but totally worthless in terms of improving the customer experience.

The world would be a better place if they took everyone who worked on the video and assigned them to answer the phones.

LOL. I guess some brain surgeon in AC Marketing saw some value to spending the money on it....

meh

I dunno? What does it mean to be a Canadian:
- tolerance;
- respect for others;
- diversity,
AC's video does not speak to any of this. Its pretty meh,
IMO, the Raptors did not much more to celebrate Canada than this AC video.

I cried

I cried watching this.

My only gripe is that the AC onboard safety video has a stuffed beaver in it, and this moving tearjerker of an Kool-Aid-drinking video doesn't have any beavers (stuffed or alive).

Anyone know where the first location was? I think it's time for a hiking trip (I say, as I'm about to go to Europe for the summer lol)
