De-icing wait time is generally longer at busier airports. It’s common to wait for 30-60min for de-icing at YUL and YYZ, but very unlikely at YOW.
Since you mention de-icing, I remembered this clip from the AC 777 captain (who has posted some of his cargo flight photos)

20 minutes late, there's no crew at the gate and the flight still shows on time.
Anyone think OTP will be higher than 10% this month?

Now that the passengers are comfortably in their seats, time to change planes.
To much fuel on the plane.
The plane was originally scheduled for YUL last night.
Defueling will take an hour.
So 60-90 minutes to change planes is faster.

Found three of these boxes taking up space in the overhead bin.
Not sure the contents or the requirement to crack the seal.
Should be plenty of opportunities between now and November to find out.

About 6 RON kit boxes on the carousel at YVR.
Lots of toothbrushes now.

.......
Expiry date on the Tarmac Delay Snacks says (only) "November 2022", so it can't be the TATL Breakfast Banana Bread.

One bin per aisle. Filled with KitKats and Proseco for J and a Tazer for Y.
Don't worry about PE; they will sit quietly and hope to get J leftovers.

A Taser for Y? That would speed up boarding for a few folks. And, if AC ever devolved into WG, it could be useful inflight to 'influence' unruly pax to CUN.
