I received another 35% transfer promo email yesterday (looks targeted?), saying this round ends April 22.

I transferred some Bonvoy points to AP yesterday, but not yet showing up on my AP account. Not sure how long this takes.

When you plugged the points into the Bonvoy site to transfer, did it just give you the regular 3:1 transfer rate?

Yes, 3:1. I haven't used Marriott in years, so surprised to find I had any points, not to mention enough to transfer.

AFAIK, this type of promo has generally been in the spring and fall... at least in recent memory.

Also, some promos require a minimum transfer to AP to get the advertised bonus... and others do not require a minimum transfer. Make sure to read the fine print.

Yes. But you won't get the bonus points any more. That changed last year.

For those of you transferring Bonvoy to AE, why aren't you waiting to redeem a travel package where you convert to AE 1:1.
This promo makes the conversion closer to 2:1.

There's also a promo on now to buy Bonvoy points a 25% off.

Is there a transfer fee for this conversion?

The points transfer falls under the T&Cs of the hotel loyalty program. There was no fee from Marriott. I can't speak about other hotels.

I did the transfer of 60K Bonvoy points to Aeroplan on April 11. Nothing has showed up in my AE account so far. Not even the basic points. When I look at my Marriott Bonvoy account, it shows that 60K was deducted on April 11. Should I be concerned about this?
