2019 Spring Aeroplan Convert Hotel Points to Miles

Convert them into Aeroplan Miles before Apr. 22 and get a 30% bonus and get closer to your next reward. That’s in addition to the miles you get as a result of converting.

Looks like there is no transfer minimum (that I can see) to get the bonus this time (unlike some past transfer promos).

I got 35% via email. Tempting for Marriott transfer with the Bonvoy devaluations, but unsure.

Got the same thing- and am considering the same Bonvoy issue.

I took the plunge.

Cleaned up several of miscellaneous hotel point accounts that I couldn't really use for much.

I guess we will see when the bonus gets credited.

I am debating hard between Marriot to UA (10%) vs AP (35%). It is hard to get UA miles in other ways in Canada. the savings on YQ probably worth more than the 25% miles. any suggestions?

Can someone confirm, on Bonvoy website it says every 60k at 3:1, you get extra 5k miles, which is 25k. Then, you get another 35% on top, grand total of 33750?

On the AP site, it shows 30% but the email (which I also received) says 35%.

Yes, that is what I got during last fall's conversion bonus.

I've done a number of transfers to United when they do a 30% bonus, which ends up getting you 35750 miles for 60K Marriott. Thing is, you now cannot book YYZ-SFO in AC J with United for whatever reason, so I'm hesitant to put anything more into UA since I fly that route often.

hi guys, I am thinking about taking advantage of this offer for transferring Bonvoy points. Few questions...

1) is there any way to get an email for the 35% offer instead of 30%? I have an Aeroplan account but never used it neither for earning or redemption, is joining an email list sufficient for triggering the higher bonus offer? or is it only for higher status members?
2) can we have a few data points of how long it takes for the bonus to post? According to AC, they say 4-6 weeks after the promo ends, which is very long...I called them and the agent said less than 24 hrs, so I am a little confused now. I have my eyes on a specific award, but if I really have to wait 4-6 weeks after the 22nd April, then the award will probably be gone by then...then I will be stuck with orphaned miles in my account

Thanks in advance!

It typically takes a week or so to get the credit. Although some people had issues last time
See this thread.

Edit : I was wrong. The 35% is targeted. Probably at people who have transferred in the past

I have about 950,000 HH points and trying to figure out the value for free stays or AP flights with the 35% bonus!

That is a lot of potential award nights in nice Conrad, Curio or Canopy hotels!
