Changes to United Airlines Accumulation

https://www.aeroplan.com/whats_new/n...210_2019_03_22

Effective March 30, 2019 note the following accrual structure changes for United Airlines:

- Booking classes F and A will no longer be eligible for accumulation. For travel until March 29, 2019 earn 150%.
- Earn 125% in new booking classes O, A or R.

To learn more consult the United Airlines accumulation structure right now.

Good information. I have seen a few deals with United in their new PE cabin under booking class R, and was wondering what the accumulation would be like. 125% matches to AC PE, and may make UA's cabin a good value proposition.

Interesting on the F & A codes. Looks like United is phasing them out totally. Their new highest class is J, which also aligns with AC.

So is A no longer eligible, or is it 125%?

Yes. And in that order!

Dumb wording, I agree.

Isn't domestic 2 cabin service sold as booking class F/A? Or is United moving to JCDZP only for domestic premium cabin?

Exactly. No more F/A. At least I haven't seen any lately.

So really this is a devaluation for premium cabin flyers
Oh wait... they call it "enhancement"

Huh?

F/A never credited more than P to Aeroplan.

Full fare (F) credited more to UA, but it was the same amount as full J, so there's been no change in either case.

Didnít F/A credit at 150% and J/C/D/Z/P at 125%?
Or do I have my tables mixed up

Looks like UA changed their fare codes on Jan 1.
