Just so I know what to pack, what is the state of the showers in the YYZ Dom MLL? Do they usually have clean towels?

Would prefer to have a shower after arriving on 158 before heading downtown.

Usually. But there could be a lineup for showers if you arrive after 6:40 am. You want to pray that the B763 operating AC155 doesn't go mechanical, which will delay or cancel your AC158.

I'd gladly do it if someone can foot the cost/bill from YOW for me, with the return to YYZ that night on 158.

Just a FYI that the shower glass is tempered, reducing your chances of getting cut in case it shatters.

This is most likely, based on my 100+ times having showers during that timeframe on a weekday after arriving on one of the YVR or YYC or YEG redeyes. They do a paging system.

Hoping that sitting in row 1 will give me a better chance of getting to the shower, although the 7:15am sched arrival is not promising!

Moved my hotel stay to the Best Western Plus Suites Downtown Calgary which still seems within walking distance of National on 10th. Free parking and free breakfast are nice perks.

So a bunch more were added...looks like 13-14 people coming.

I've modified the reservation to be for 12, but I have to call to expand it further.

Is anyone else thinking of coming?

I'm thinking of coming (solo), but low odds (maybe 25%) that the date will work..

I do think the most efficient way to yyc from yyz is via pvg then yvr.

Well this sucks. I have a Mon. night presentation and a Tues. all morning in-service training that has popped up overnight that I can't reschedule so will sadly have to cancel my attending this Do but will try next time. Enjoy the event regardless. ^
