Y are definitely the same across both versions of the 77W. For PY I somewhat recall reading somewhere (maybe the PY thread - I will try to find it tomorrow) that the PY seats on the HD version have some minor differences.
They recently reconfigured an additional mainline A319 fin (FIN261) into the Jetz configuration too. My guess is these 4 might stay for awhile.

Both the 777 and 787 are getting the J seat cushion refurbished during a heavy visit from what I gather. For the mean time, they started loading seat cushions in case a J seat is to deflate in-flight and the reset does not work.

@etkuo
I scrolled through the 777 thread and it seems some discussion of the difference in seating (pearicularly PE/PY refurb or not on some of the HD fins starts around this page and a bit later on are photos form 2017 of Fin 743

IIRC some of the PY seats have lower resolution AVOD screens.

IIRC, there was discussion in the 777 refurb thread and photos were posted of the different PE/PY seats on the older fins. We know the newer Fins 748 and 749 were factory-delivered with the new cabins. I recall flying brand new Fin 749 from HKG. Loved that new plane smell. Took this photo of her before boarding in HKG Oct 1 2016

This is what it looks like on FINS 743-747 (grey headrests):
And this is the rest of the 777 fleet (red and black headrests):

Edit to add:
So I just did some googling and came across this video:
Shows FIN747. Looks like they refurbished the headrest to be the same as the normal ones, but as @The Lev mentioned, definitely smaller screens on these seats. Also looks like bulkheads were present on this too.

Could one 77W and the one “unaccounted for” 333 (Lion) be part of a sale to the feds for use as government jets? Haven’t seen much noise about that since they announced they were looking.

Hard to believe the feds would buy both types of aircraft - would require too much overhead of different flight crew training, spares, etc.

Unlikely. There are 5 aircraft needing to be replaced - 2 tankers, 2 transports, and 1 VIP. The tankers needing replacement are pretty important. It seems way more likely that some of the Transat A332’s would be converted as that’s the platform for the present MRTT. There’s also a lot of used lift on the market.

The light grey headrests are gone. I believe the general consensus is that the seat covers were replaced to bring them in line with the rest of fleet with darker headrests with the red at the sides.

But since COVID, AC has stopped giving detailed forward guidance on the fleet, so we really don't know what the plans look like.
The XM interiors are definitely towards the end of their lives though, so it's reasonably likely that they'll get a new interior, if they do stick around.

Looks like AC has actually been able to ditch 4 of the 763s with lease returns:
So, if 7 are going to go to cargo, 14 to go...
- C-FMLV (FIN 676) was returned to AerCap in January
- C-FMWW (634) was returned to Crane Aircraft Partners in January
- C-FMWQ (632) was returned to Avolon in January
- C-FMXC (636) was returned to UMB Bank in February
So, if 7 are going to go to cargo, 14 to go...
- C-FMWU (633) to UMB Bank in February
- C-FMLZ (677) to Bank of Utah in March
- C-GEOQ (647) to Bank of Utah in April - looks like this one is being moved on to ShunFeng Airlines
- C-GHPE (691) to Bank of Utah in April - looks like this one is being moved on to YTO Cargo Airlines
So that leaves 10 more (outside the 7 that will become AC freighters) to get rid of.
