Good job today AC! Jan. 28, 2019.

Well it's midnight in the centre of the universe. Big snow storm today.
Lots of delays, diversions and cancellations.......
and not one complaint about it on FT.
Maybe the morning "news" will tell a different tale.

31cm at YYZ. DOM security is ridiculously long for priority/Nexus (likely 50+ minutes)

Yeah, I'm a little East of YYZ though still South of the 407 and just checked, it's looking like about 25cm outside which is more than I recall getting recently.

Speaking for myself and some FF that I know, we do not complaint about delays caused at AC by the weather. The complaints are normally about the recovery.

Yikes... is that normal for DOM or due to cancellations/delays last night?

I am planning on the minimum 90 minutes tomorrow morning from YYZ to YVR... waiting 50 minutes at the DOM security would suck ... a lot.

Isn't YYZ DOM undergoing CATSA+ renovations so processing capacity is down, thus explaining the long security wait time

That plus the stranded passengers that have been rebooked plus some CATSA staff likely did not make it in with the poor weather. There were some people stuck in their cars/traffic for 4 hours yesterday incl on parts of the 401, DVP and some streets that have more than a 5 degree incline.

So basically what you're saying is... "Call in the army, we are toronto and we don't know how to handle snow"

Welcome to Winnipeg. If it's not -40 you're not suffering, and even then it's just a bit cold.

With all due respect to the fortitude of Peggers, TO is a tad larger with a lot more traffic, a lot more flights, a lot more roads and a lot more people. If it snows like it did in TO and other major NA city would have similar issues - like ORD, NYC, etc.

Along with more snow plows, sanders, etc, etc.than Winnipeg. Somehow, I feel Montreal deals with snow way better than Toronto. PS - Montreal is a major NA city.

Ah yes ORD and NYC. Great cities with well known airports that never struggle

Oddly the flight I am monitoring closely out of YYZ left and arrived early Monday. Then was almost 2h late again today
